FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device includes set of transducers for detection of car overloading and control module, which is electrically connected with actuating devices of gas generators, and outer safety airbag that is provided with aperture opposite to driver seat and inflated from under bonnet. This airbag envelopes car's windscreen, front pillars and front edge of roof. From the side of external damping surface the gas-filled outer safety airbag is surrounded with boards placed along left and right edge. Internal side surfaces of said boards are parallel to longitudinal axis of car and perpendicular to road plane. Along upper edge this airbag is placed opposite to board connected with mentioned boards. Front and rear surface of this board are perpendicular to symmetry axis of windscreen.
EFFECT: invention provides passive safety of pedestrians and traffic participants, who move on two-wheel vehicles, in the case of their collision with front of passenger cars.
