FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, in particular, to devices for providing passive safety of pedestrians and drivers moving on two-wheeled vehicles,during collision with front part of passenger car. Device is composed of the overload sensors, control module, gas generators and safety bag. Airbag has left and right sides with shelves from the inside at the top and the inner side surfaces of these sides (ISSTS) are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the car (LAC) and perpendicular (P) to the road plane and the upper and lower surfaces of these shelves are parallel to the axis of symmetry of the windshield and P ISSTS, and along the upper edge there is a flange with a shelf on its front side at the top along its width, the front and rear surfaces of which are P LAC, and top and bottom surfaces of the specified shelf are parallel to road plane.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection is ensured.
