SUBSTANCE: downhole electrical generator system contains the elongated tubular casing with the elongated axle, having the outer surface and forming the fluid flow path, the bladeless generator supported by the casing, containing at least one disk, mounted on the drive shaft and having the perimeter. The drive shaft extends along the axis, which is perpendicular to the tubular casing elongated axis so, that the disk is vertically oriented and intersects the fluid flow path at the tangential to the disk perimeter.
EFFECT: driving the generator regardless of the fluid flow mode, as well as the reduction of the impact on the main drilling fluid flow through the drill string.
