FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: temporary sealing paste for treatment of caries complications contains, wt %: zinc oxide - 20, calcium hydroxide - 15, barium sulfate - 15, glucosamine hydrochloride - 5, cobamamide - 5, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose - 5, benzethonium chloride - 5, pectin - 5, benzocaine - 5, distilled water - the rest. The paste has high anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and radiopaque adhesive properties, optimal pH for the tooth pulp, dentine liquid resistant to washing, ability to stimulate the dentinogenous function of the dental pulp, which allows to use it effectively for treatment of deep caries and acute focal pulpitis.
EFFECT: paste application allows to reduce terms of conservative treatment of dental caries complications.
