SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the images encoding. In this method the reversible image encoding is performed by extracting the image, compressed in the original data compression format, partial uncompressing of the compressed image into the at least partially decompressed intermediate image, transcoding of the mentioned intermediate image to the transcoded image, and combining the mentioned transcoded image into preferably a single file with the compression data.
EFFECT: invention provides the quality increase of the image encoding by reducing the losses, while coding.
