SUBSTANCE: wide angle of the conical scan is achieved by using an antenna beam that is expanded only in one plane passing through its axis of rotation, and the direction finder contains an antenna, a generator of reference signals, radio-frequency receiver, frequency evaluation unit, driver of correction component, two deviation signal conditioners and two scaling units coupled in a certain manner.

EFFECT: expanded flare of the conical area of two-plane direction finding of radio-frequency source at a fixed level of estimation error for each of its two angular coordinates.
