FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and is meant for measuring bearing of a location object, which is a source of radio radiation (SRR) or reflection of radio waves, simultaneously in two planes - in azimuth and angle of elevation. The direction finder contains an antenna, on the aperture of which are formed one sum and three difference patterns, the equisignal planes of which are displaced from each other by an angle 60° from the centre of the antenna aperture. The direction finder also contains a hybrid converter, multichannel monopulse receiving device, first, second and third deviation signal conditioners, as well as first and second coordinate conversion units.
EFFECT: more accurate evaluation of angular deviation of a source of radio radiation in the azimuth and angle of elevation from equisignal direction under conditions of small signal-to-noise ratios.
