FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: transportable gas filling unit contains the carrying frame, adapted to be mounted on a chassis frame of the truck (12) and performed with the side members (3), the cross members and support pillars (6) in the operating vertical position, having the possibility to be in the transporting vertical position by means of mechanical actuator (13). The cassettes (1) connected between each other with gas cylinders (2) are mounted on the carrying frame, each of which is designed as the box shaped structure with walls, located along the corresponding side member (3) edge. The gas cylinders (2) are mounted so, that the gas cylinder body rests on the surface of the holes (8), presenting in the cassettes walls (1) and located as close as possible to each other. Mechanical drive is configured as a single-worm gear (13) for each support pillar (6) providing the vertical turn between the working and transport position.

EFFECT: expansion of the similar purpose means range, while reducing the material consumption on the way to simplify the device and by improving the load distribution force diagram.
