LOAD PLATFORM OF ASSORTMENT CARRYING CRANE-MANIPULATOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: load platform load-bearing base with bunks uniformly spaced over length of frame and vertical guard wall rigidly secured in front and consisting of screen guard welded to two carrying posts whose upper ends are rigidly closed by load bearing crossbar with cradle in the middle. Cradle serves for laying and fixing load lifting boom of crane hydraulic manipulator in travelling position with bunks loaded with assortments. Support platform for clamp of crane hydraulic manipulator is secured on face surface of guard wall directly under crossmember. Platform is extended forward and inclined downwards and it is used for laying the clamp of crane hydraulic manipulator at transportation of load. Each bunk has quick-acting tensioning device of band-and-chain type with lever eccentric drive for bracing the load into pack and fixing the load. Quick-acting devices are arranged on posts of each bunk. Reinforcements of sidemembers and screen guards and means for fastening sidemembers of posts and support beams are provided.
