FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: estimation and "forecast" of the target motion parameters are carried out in the projections on the axis of the inertial coordinate system, resulting in per-channel decomposition of the equations relative to the target motion, whereby, instead of the 9th order model, three structurally identical and unconnected channels are received. Three filter-identifiers, synthesized thereon, form a complete array of the optimal estimates, which are used as initial conditions for a more efficient procedure of the optimal estimation based on the modified elevation distance calculating method compared with the forecast. At the result, the simplification of the optimal estimation and forecast procedures, used in the binding mode, and the implementation alternative to the forecast and the optimal estimation procedure unified with the binding mode, base on the modified elevation distance calculating method for improving the accuracy and efficiency of the combat mission decision, are provided.
