FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and housing of electric machine. Housing has cooling area consisting of many ribs for directing coolant flow along the external surface of the housing, supply area, having at least one channel for supply of coolant flow to the ribs in cooling area, and discharge area, having at least one channel to discharge coolant flow from ribs in cooling area. Inside the housing there is at least one recess for directing coolant flow inside the housing in axial direction. Housing in the areas of coolant supply and discharge has rectangular cross section, herewith, inner space of the housing in said areas at the corners has one channel for supplying and discharging coolant flow. In the area of cooling ribs limit external surface in the form of rectangular parallelepiped.
EFFECT: technical result – improved cooling efficiency.
