Each of the constituent rollers parts may be mounted radially on the rod and connected with other parts on the principle of a puzzle, forming a roller in assembly mounted in a way to rotate on the rod. Parallel ridges extending along the width of the modules increase the stiffness of the belt. The conveyor belt module has several sections, at least one hinge element and the cast rod. The cast rod comprises an elongated central section, a pair of rounded projections and a peripheral groove. A method of production of the module of the conveyor belt comprises casting a rod, deletion of the first form from the rod, casting of intermediate rod section and installation of rod hinge element.
