FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the light emitting device for illumination of the backlight device. The device comprises an matrix of light sources and, at least, one reflector disposed along the matrix edge of the light sources. The matrix is disposed interleaving with the first and the second light sources, where the first light sources emit the light of the first color and the second light sources - the light of the second color. The combined intensity of, at least, one light source disposed adjacent to, at least, one reflector and its virtual image in the reflector, is about 80-120% of the average intensity of the light sources of the same color that are not disposed adjacent to, at least, one reflector.
EFFECT: invention can improve the uniformity of color mixing.
