FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: deformation of material under the influence which excesses its damage level, reception of occuring electromagnetic radiation by antenna in the radio-frequency region and recording of the received signal are carried out. Deformation rate is determined by the pattern of signal rise, their amplitude determineds the destruction magnitude, while the spectrum of the signals determines the presence of microroughnesses on the treated material surface at each time point.
EFFECT: possibility to obtain additional information in the electromagnetic range with no contact, to adjust the processing of the material without turning off the operating modes of the whole system, which increases the efficiency of technologic operations.
