FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device (1) is proposed for transporting plate-like objects. It has a vacuum gripper (2) and support elements (8) provided in the lower edge area of vacuum gripper (2), which have can be moved to and from their active position. When this vacuum gripper (2) of device (1) for transporting double glass blanks is provided at outlet (10) of the sealing station, so that support elements (8) independently of one another, beginning from support element (8) adjacent to the sealing station, may be alternately interchanged in their active position adjacent to the lower edge of double glass blank (20), as due to the motion of vacuum gripper (2) from the exit of the sealing station, they will be located near the end of lower exit conveyor (10) of the sealing station.
