In particular, the method includes the stages of dividing a specific time interval for device-to-device communication into a plurality of potential periods and transmitting the reference signal for synchronization in the secondary user equipment from one period out of the number of potential periods, if the generated random number is greater than or equal to the critical value corresponding to the inner region of the coverage area. The critical value corresponding to the inner region of the coverage area, is less than the critical value corresponding to the outer region of the coverage area.
EFFECT: obtaining more efficient synchronization for direct device-to-device communication.
