FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for measuring the phase difference and the level ratio of two harmonic signals is claimed, according to which the instantaneous values of two signals are measured at regular time intervals. Three instantaneous values of the reference and measuring signals are obtained as a result of measurements. The amplitude value of the measuring signal is calculated using the analytical ratio between the first, the second and the third instantaneous values of the measuring signal with its amplitude, and the instantaneous phase value of the measuring signal is calculated applying the analytical ratio between the first, the second and the third instantaneous values of the measuring signal with its instantaneous phase. The value of the amplitude and the instantaneous phase of the reference signal is similarly calculated. Dividing the calculated amplitude value of the measuring signal by the calculated amplitude value of the reference signal, the level ratio of the two signals is found. The phase difference of the two signals is similarly found.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of measuring the phase difference of the two harmonic signals and widening the possibilities of the method.
