FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes antimony and lead leaching from copper anode slime in a solution containing 50-200 g/dm3 of glycerin, 50-100 g/dm3 of alkali and a reducing agent, in an amount that provides the system oxidation-reduction potential more positively than +0.8 V at a temperature of 70-90°C for 2-3 hours. Thus lead from the leach solution is educed by known methods. Antimony is precipitated by electrolysis with an insoluble anode at a cathode current density of 200-300 A/m2. As the reducing agent, sugar is used at a concentration in the leach solution of 100-150 g/dm3.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the degree of antimony leaching from the slime by 3-4 times and lead by 1,5-2 times in comparison with known methods.
