FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of diagnostics and operation of aero-derivative gas turbine engine. The area of greatest stress concentration is pre-determined, an artificial cut is made to imitate a crack, that weakens the part in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the maximum principal stress, parts are loaded in a rapid cycle with cracks control by non-destructive testing, after the crack discovery the cycle is changed to the cycle corresponding to the operational, and the test is continued with the crack growth up to the acceptable value at which the part load-bearing capacity is retained, then the inspection intervals for operation according the technical condition is established, which shall not exceed one half of the operating time between crack detection by non-destructive control and its growth up to the maximum permissible value.

EFFECT: invention provides a method for improving the accuracy of rapid calculation and experimentsl establishment of engine parts inspection intervals to ensure safe operation according to the technical condition.
