FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical rehabilitation of patients after colostomy includes formation of a reservoir by serosal myotomy and colon a channel created in the anterior abdominal wall. In the prestomal area, across the length of intestine, a flap is formed at a distance of 47 cm from the stoma. A tank is formed by cutting 2-3 parallel sections of serous and muscle membranes of the intestinal wall along 10 cm of each taenia. The distance between sections is 2.5-3.0 cm.
EFFECT: method can greatly simplify the tank and valve flap formation technique in the prestomal area, and improves the quality of life due to colostomy sealing and holding functions.
