METHOD OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF EVAGINATION OF COLOSTOMY IN HIRSPRUNG'S DISEASE IN CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/02 

FIELD: medicine; colorectal surgery.

SUBSTANCE: inner semicircle of the colostomy is released from previously placed sutures to the free abdominal cavity. Then a rectal speculum with a diameter of half the diameter of the intestine is inserted into the intestine and the first distal seromuscular suture is applied, creating a fold that is screwed into half the lumen of the intestine, followed by opening the rectal speculum to the size of the intestinal lumen. The remaining intestinal sutures are applied throughout the thickness of the anterior abdominal wall so that a cone-shaped lumen is formed, with a full diameter at the entrance of the intestine into the free abdominal cavity. After removing the rectal speculum, the wound of the anterior abdominal wall is sutured in layers to the edge of the newly formed colostomy.

EFFECT: method is minimally invasive and easy to perform, allows to preserve the entire length of the colon suitable for subsequent radical surgery in conditions of its deficiency after disconnecting the aganglionic zone, eliminates the risk of relapses and postoperative complications, thereby improving treatment results.
