SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses that use for the processing of materials the energy of a rotating electromagnetic field acting on ferromagnetic particles that interact directly with the material being processed and can be used in various industries. SUBSTANCE: vortex layer unit of continuous operation contains the manifold, which communicates with the pipe for supplying the cooling medium and separating its flow into two streams, the lids with pipes for supplying and discharging the cooling medium, connected to the external system of supply and cooling, the inductor of the rotating electromagnetic field, positioned between the lids, having the axial channel, in which the reaction chamber in the form of a tube is installed with clearance to the channel walls, in the working area of which the insert with ferromagnetic particles is located. The device is provided with a control system of supplied power and provided with a cylindrical casing coupled with lids, and the inductor - shell made of a nonmagnetic material covering it from outside and fixed with clearance relative to the housing. In the wall of the collector facing the inductor, an annular recess and holes are made on both sides of it, and one of the ends of the shell is fixed in this recess. The perforated reel is manufactured with formation along internal perimeter opposed three or more jogged right and left helical lines, and also internal three and more helical grooves with identical pitch from the sections, made from two subsections. The rotating reel is made of sections, which are assembled from two sub-sections, formed of three or more serially interconnected lateral sides of the isosceles trapezoids and isosceles triangles, whose bases are disposed in the subsections in different directions. The sections are connected among themselves by large bases of perforated trapezoids. The subsections are connected with each other by large bases of the trapezoids, and subsections are connected in section such that bases of the isoscales triangle of one subsection are connected to top base of the isosceles trapezoids of the second subsection, and bases of the isoscales triangles of the second subsection are connected to top base of the isosceles trapezoids of the first subsection.
