FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the methods and means of satellites magnetic orientation, mainly of small spacecrafts (SC). The method includes measuring the Earth's magnetic field induction vectors and kinetic moment, accumulated by the "KA-flywheel" system. The signals to the executive electromagnetic devices for the preliminary spacecraft calming are formed according to the measured parameters. The gyrostabilization and the spacecraft motion control are carried out in the pitch with the help of the engine-flywheel (installed along the pitch axis). The flywheel unloading is carried out by means of the indicated electromagnetic devices. These processes are controlled by the microcomputer, interacting with the on-board computer, connected through the telemetry channel to the ground center.
EFFECT: improving of the technical and operational characteristics and the orientation system reliability, mainly of small spacecrafts.
