SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to space engineering. Method for controlling the movement of the spacecraft is to automatically compensate for the errors of the strapdown attitude reference system, which is part of the SC attitude control system, caused by systematic errors of the angular velocity sensor unit, using a comparison of the readings of the angular velocity sensor unit with the indications of a block of star sensors in error correction devices. Control device includes a central computer, a strapdown attitude reference system, a block of star sensors, actuators, a spacecraft orientation device comprising a solar sensor and a three-dimensional magnetometer or an IR vertical sensor connected to a microcomputer, a device for controlling the orientation of solar cells, a satellite navigation receiver, an electromagnetic control system whose electromagnets are mounted directly on the body of the spacecraft along the axes X, Y, Z. Three-dimensional magnetometer is common for the spacecraft orientation device and electromagnetic control system.
EFFECT: ensuring reliability and survivability of spacecraft with high accuracy of orientation.
