FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: two-stage electrically driven pump unit (EDPU) comprises an inlet and an outlet pipes and two EDPUs. Each motor contains an EDPU with hermetically separated titanium housings, for the rotor and the stator respectively, connected along the perimeter to the free housing part with the aluminum pump housing. In the pump housing on the engine rotor shaft, the left and the right impellers are fixed, mounted in the cage bore. The impellers cavities are separated by a vertical diaphragm and contain conversion channels. The engine stator housing and the pump housing junction is made airtight by means of the monolithic transition bimetallic ring with the titanium and the aluminum side, respectively. The engine rotor housing cavity communicates with the impeller cavity through the liquid via the rotor bearings. The diaphragm is made integral with the cage, airtight along its outer perimeter. One conversion channel is made in the areas of the cage and the bushing, and connects the entrance and exit of the cavities, of the right and left impellers respectively; the other channel is made in the areas of the cage and the EDPU housing and connects the left impeller cavity outlet and the outlet pipe. The EDPUs are arranged symmetrically relative to the plane passing through the inlet and outlet pipes and the ball-shaped check valve installed at the intersection of the EDPU conversion channels outlets with the outlet pipe channel. The EDPU housing, spring-loaded from the external side of the outlet pipe, is made as a single structure.
EFFECT: increasing reliability, increasing the efficiency factor, simplifying the design, reducing the weight, expanding the conditions of using the two-step electrically-driven pump unit.
