FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building hydraulics, specifically to methods of making electrically-driven pump units (EPU) for aircraft and spacecraft thermal control systems. In the method of producing EPU, the diaphragm dividing the impellers is made integral with the cartridge tightly along its outer perimeter. Lower and upper fluid transfer channels are made by coaxial joining of channels of separate parts of pump design - holder, sleeve and EPU housing. Monolithic transient bimetallic ring is welded to motor stator housing along its entire perimeter by welding seam. Aluminium side of said ring is tightly jointed with EPU body by welding seam. After making the primary EPU, it is connected to an additional EPU structurally similar to the main one, wherein ball-like check valve is used, which is installed in point of connection of upper transfer channels of main and additional EPU with outlet channel of branch pipe, common for bodies of both EPU.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of reliability and efficiency factor of EPU operation, expansion of application conditions.
