FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control the rectifiers (RC) of the electrical power converter, built on the basis of transformers with rotating magnetic fields (TRMFs). The method for regulating the RC output voltage on the basis TRMF structurally made with any number of QoS sections is that the output voltage regulation is carried out due to smooth transition from one control stage to the other, while the stages themselves correspond to the geometric sum of the EMF of the QoS sections arranged between its equidistant outlets, wherein the smoothness of the transition from one stage to another is provided by changing the equity ratio of connection durations of the EMF of said regulation stages to the assembly rectifier busbars, which together by the time comprise the output voltage pulsation period.

EFFECT: reducing in the greater part of the range of regulation of the pulsation amplitude in the rectified voltage curve during regulating, when EMFs removed only from the circular windings located at the ends of the maximum chords are connected to the assembly busbars of RC with the TRMFs, which leads to reducing the voltage pulsation ratio and, consequently, to improving the quality of the rectified voltage.
