FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: frequency converter is made on the basis of the transformer with the rotating magnetic field, having the full geometric, electric and magnetic symmetry with the primary three-phase winding connected by the "star" scheme and switched into the mains supply, and the circular winding, the number of sections thereof is a multiple of three, and each outlet of which is connected to the output busbars of the three-phase AC voltage through the valves set of three power switches, fully controlled and having two-way conduction in the open state. The power switch switches on the valves so that the circular coil outlets, in which the electric potential has the mutual phase shift equal to 2π/3, are connected to the output busbars of secondary three-phase voltage. Enabling and disabling of two adjacent outlets is performed with an overlap in time, resulting in the alignment of their capacity, which leads to the improvement of the output voltage form and to the reduction of harmonic distortion, and the output voltage frequency is changed by means of changing the switched-on state duration of power switches constituting the groups of valves.

EFFECT: obtaining high-quality three-phase voltage of the changed frequency for the supply of special consumers in autonomous electrical installations.
