FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis of mild severity, the biologically active face points (Cv-26, Cv-27, St-7, St-8) are exposed to electromagnetic radiation of the terahertz range at the frequency of the molecular spectrum of atmospheric oxygen radiation and absorption of 129.0 GHz for 3 minutes at each point, with an output power of 250 mcW in continuous generation mode at a distance of 3 cm from the facial skin, daily, once a day, with a total of 7 sessions per treatment course.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis of mild severity with a number of lesions due to normalization of microcirculatory disorders in periodontal tissues by selective action on active cellular metabolites, which leads to a reduction in treatment duration and an increase in the disease remission period.
