FIELD: medicine; dentistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to diagnose inflammatory diseases of oral tissues based on electrochemical parameters of oral fluid. Unstimulated oral fluid is collected in the morning, on an empty stomach, in an amount of 3 ml into sterile tubes. A sample of oral fluid is taken from the test tube using a syringe, preventing foam from entering, and introduced into the internal channel of the flow sensor until a column of liquid appears, which confirms complete filling of the internal channel and contact of the electrodes with the object under study. Then, using a potentiostat, a series of four current pulses with a force of 0.1 mA, 0.2 mA, 0.3 mA, 0.5 mA, each lasting 3 s, is applied to the current guides. Current work data for four specified current pulses: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 is obtained and saved on a personal computer. At Q1 from 0.13 to 0.238 mJ, Q2 from 0.096 to 0.198 mJ, Q3 from 0.056 to 0.164 mJ, Q4 from 0.033 to 0.129 mJ, inflammatory diseases of the oral tissues are diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of non-invasive rapid assessment of the presence of inflammation in various parts of the oral mucosa and monitoring of treatment without the contact of the device with tissues in the oral cavity due to the data of the joulemetric method, from which indicators of the current work are obtained — a method based on electrochemical indicators of the oral fluid.
