SUBSTANCE: method of tensioning the belt drive a car engine timing belt is to transfer the tensile force from the rotational motion of the eccentric mechanism (1) and maintaining the belt in constant working order by the working of the spring (4). Eccentric gear (1) is designed as a cage roller (5) with the sleeve fixed in it (6). The sleeve (6) is arranged eccentrically on it and rotatably placed eccentric. Rotational movement of the eccentric mechanism (1) is carried out by applying a force on the tensioning lever (2), through which the working spring (4) transmits it to the cam lever (3) is rigidly mounted on the latter. The operating state is maintained by the tight belt tension lever lock (2) and urging the cam lever (3).
