FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: belt tensioning device of drive includes roller (1) and bearing (2) pressed in roller seat. In central roller part there made eccentrically in relation to its axis (3) is a hole in which sleeve (4) is located with possibility of being turned and rotated. Eccentric hole (5) is made in sleeve with its offset along axis (6) to the side from roller axis. Sleeve turning device is installed in sleeve hole (5). Bracket (9) for attachment of roller to housing of engine has fixing member on which one end of working spring is fixed. One end of thrust lever (15) connected to roller is connected to sleeve, and fixing member is provided on its other end, on which the other end of working spring is fixed. Guide sleeve (17) is located between roller and sleeve; at that, it is put on sleeve and connected to bracket so that axis (18) of guide sleeve has eccentricity in relation to axis (3) of roller.

EFFECT: invention allows providing soft damping of alternate loads on gas distribution mechanism of engine in wide range.
