SUBSTANCE: method for using codes for data accessibility is provided and includes a code setting pre-assigned to at least one catalog entry containing at least one information field into an electronic device. The method comprises the step of identifying the entered code with software tools, searching catalog entries with codes corresponding to the identification results. At the same time, at least one graphic symbol comprising at least one element is used as a code, code entry into an electronic device provided with a screen is performed by drawing the code in the selected area of the screen by the user.
EFFECT: speed-up of access to data by displaying the elements of the most likely version of the input code with a visual difference between the code elements entered by the user.
