FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: feedstock is ground, then subjected to a three-step extraction in a Soxhlet apparatus with a 25-fold excess of organic solvent for 5-6 hours, followed by distilling off the solvent, at the first stage, extraction is carried out with hexane, at the second stage - with ethyl acetate, at the third stage - with methyl alcohol, then the residue obtained after extraction with methyl alcohol is extracted with water at a 4-8-fold excess of the extractant for 4 hours, filtering and repeating the extraction three times more, then a 6% sodium hydroxide solution is added to the insoluble residue at the residue:sodium hydroxide weight ratio of 1:10, the mixture is heated for 5-6 hours, cooled, filtered and washed with water, a 2% aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride is added to the obtained residue, at the residue: hydrogen chloride solution ratio of 1:10, the mixture is heated for 5-6 hours, cooled, filtered and the residue is washed with water.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of agarikon application to obtain the maximum amount of various biologically active substances.
