FIELD: dry inertia-type cleaning in swirled gas flows. SUBSTANCE: vortex dust collector has cylindrical body which upper part houses axial branch pipe for outlet of cleaned gas, branch pipe for inlet of secondary gas manufactured in the form of box of uniform tangential distribution having slit-type nozzle with straightening plates. Lower part of body houses branch pipe for inlet of primary dust-laden gas, blade vortex generator, cylindrical fairing and dust hopper with side tap for discharge of collected dust. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of process of dust collection by way of reduced carry-away of dust thanks to annihilation of spurious vortexes in zone of injection of secondary gas. 2 cl, 4 dwg
