SUBSTANCE: description of a method for determining the path of the underground fluid flow through the geological volume is presented. The initial object is located in the geologic volume. The initial object defines the initial boundary of the fluid. Data points are distributed in the geologic volume. The data points are associated with the values of one or more geological attributes. The method comprises the following steps: assigning the expression that sets the change in the fluid boundary position in the data points based on the values of one or more attributes and applying this expression in the data points for successive iterations in order to change the fluid boundary during the successive iterations. Next, the underground fluid motion path through the geology volume can be determined by the fluid boundary change.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of data obtained.
