FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a measuring device and an electrolytic cell made of a dielectric material, to the lower part of which a carbon electrode connected hermetically to the positive pole of the measuring device for controlling the current generated in the electrolytic cell by contacting an electrically conducting liquid with through defects in the coating of the test sample connected to the negative pole of the measuring device, and in the upper part a contact element made of the corrosion-resistant material. The electrolytic cell is provided with a filling system. The device is provided with a deformation unit placed above the lifting stage, which is connected to the deformation unit with the possibility of vertical displacement relative to the deformation unit. A vertical guide with the electrolytic cell spring-loaded in the direction of the deformation unit is rigidly fixed to the table.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of rapid tests for the strength of dielectric coatings and the plasticity of cathodic metal coatings during deformation of metal samples.
