FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of protective metal coats, particularly, those from to zinc-based melts by hot immersion. Melt comprises 0.003-0.03 wt % of indium, 0.84-5.24 wt % of aluminium, 0.6-3.74 wt % of magnesium at aluminium-to-magnesium ratio of 1.4:1, zinc making the rest. Besides, said melt may additionally included 0.8-2.4 wt % of tin.
EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency, power savings.
