FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: for the experiment, core samples with similar lithological composition and poroperm and physico-mechanical properties are used. If possible, the samples are drilled from one piece of the original core material. In the extracted and dried core samples, a residual water saturation is created using synthetic brine. For reservoir rocks of oil fields, the samples are then saturated with kerosene or oil. The acid composition is selected on the basis of the lithological characteristics of the reservoir rocks. Each sample is individually placed in an installation that allows the acid composition to be filtered. In the installation, effective stresses are created, which correspond to the formation conditions, and a certain amount of pore volumes of the core sample of the acid composition are pumped through all the samples except one. Further, the elastic and strength properties of all core samples are tested by a static method. A correlation dependence of the change in the elastic and strength properties of core samples is constructed depending on the pumped pore volumes of the acid composition.
EFFECT: determination of the tendency of the change in the elastic and strength properties of reservoir rocks after the pumped volumes of acid composition.
