FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing fiberglass reinforcement provides the formation of a fiber bundle of fiberglass, impregnation with a solution of polymeric binder, shaping the rod preform with its profile until the polymerization of the binder is completed, the spiral winding of the rod preform is a twisted fiberglass yarn impregnated with a binder, curing the binder. The nodes on yarn are formed at each step of a spiral winding of rod blanks. The nodes on the twisted yarn are formed prior to impregnation with a polymeric binder. Nodes on a twisted yarn are formed after it is impregnated with a polymeric binder.
EFFECT: winding thread with nodes increases durability of coupling the rod fiberglass reinforcement with concrete.
