FIELD: construction; production of construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-metallic composite rods. Composite rod contains an outer layer made of roving threads connected to each other by means of high-temperature polymerisation, and a core located inside the bearing outer layer. Core is made of two and more twisted bundles, each of which is formed of two and more twisted separate roving threads. Outer layer is made of 1 and more layers of straight roving threads pre-impregnated with binder. Threads are made from glass and carbon roving, weight of carbon roving is from 5 to 10% of total weight of finished composite rod. Core is pre-impregnated with binder.
EFFECT: improved strength characteristics of the product.
