FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of fiberglass reinforcement includes a cord, moulded from the fiberglass, impregnating therein with a polymeric binder solution, moulding a rod workpiece to make its profile until the polymerization of the binder is completed, a spiral winding of the rod workpiece by the twisted fiberglass thread, impregnated and cured with the binder. For winding the rod, a twisted thread with rings movably attached to it is used. The rings are put on the thread after its impregnation with the polymer binder. The rings are made of split-type.
EFFECT: thread winding with rings increases the adhesion strength of the fiberglass reinforcement with the concrete rod, in addition, the presence of the rings makes it easier to connect the rods to each other into the structure.
