FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: after orbital exenteration, thorough hemostasis is performed, two skin flap on a leg are cut out from the forehead and cheek skin and transferred into the orbit cavity, to which fibrin matrix is applied in advance. The matrix is prepared as follows: patient blood sample is taken in a volume of 20 ml, blood is collected into a container with sodium citrate, which binds calcium ions, thereby blocking the entire coagulation process. Double centrifuging is performed to activate and aggregate platelets, 5 ml of calcium chloride is added to the platelet-rich plasma. The formed flaps are further placed on the postoperative orbit surface so that they closely contact with the ophthalmic walls, the displaced flaps are fixed to each other and to the skin defect edges by interrupted sutures, the cavity is swabbed by an ointment swab, an aseptic bandage is applied, after sutures removal, 2-3 weeks after surgery, outside eyeball eyelids and surrounding tissue prosthesis is performed, the prosthesis manufactured by the usual method.

EFFECT: method allows to restore normal face anatomy.
