FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method for reclaiming degraded lands in the permafrost zone consists in processing and forming a soil layer with the subsequent fertilization and sowing the grass mixture of a special species composition based on local wild herbs on the topsoil. As a fertiliser, an organic-mineral fertiliser based on fermented food waste is used, in the production of which the microbiological preparations are applied, the strains species composition of which is set for the maximum coverage of substrates that make up the food waste, and natural inhabitants of the soils to be reclaimed. The organic-mineral fertiliser is introduced in the soil in an amount of 20÷25 wt % in terms of the dry substance of the fertile layer to be produced.

EFFECT: invention provides the maximum gain of herb mass for all soils in the permafrost zone in one growing season, simplifying the method of reclamation.
