FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to orientation control of the space (SC) and air crafts (AC) by means of sensing elements. The device comprises sensors (S) of SC orientation relative to the astronomical objects positioned on the base. One-dimensional or two-dimensional (or their combinations) S of angular measurement are provided for each of the mentioned S. S of angular measurement comprises a radiation source and a radiation receiver mounted on the base, and a reflective element - at one of the S of determining orientation. In a version, the radiation sources and the radiation receivers of angular measurement S can be mounted on another orientation S. These elements are mounted so that the planes of the incident and reflected radiation beams are not parallel. Management of measured angular direction S (in the data processing unit) allows to eliminate the influence of errors in orientation S position in body-fixed coordinate axes (e.g., due to deformation of the structure) on the measured parameters of the craft orientation.
EFFECT: increased orientational accuracy of the spacecraft or aircraft without increasing the rigidity of their structure.
