FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: sensor system for determining the rotation angle comprises an encoder attached to the rotary mechanism body adapted to move with the rotary body. A stationary sensor unit is located opposite the encoder, issuing, at least, one sensor signal for determining the angular position. The sensor unit comprises the first inductive component, the inductance of which is dependent on the encoder angular position. The inductive component is flat-shaped. The width of the inductive component free core part is along the encoder movement direction, and the length of this free core part is perpendicular to its width. Herewith the said width is less than the said length, which is greater than the maximum width of the coding track located on the encoder.
EFFECT: reduced sensitivity to interference in the form of magnetic and electric fields.
