FIELD: devices for determination of position of movable transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: marker device includes coil radiating magnetic field. Sensor unit mounted on transport facility includes four similar sensor coils arranged in two pairs; their main axes are located on one of two sides of central plane and run in parallel with it; this plane extends transversely relative to longitudinal axis of marker device coil. Each pair of coils is arranged in X-shaped pattern and main axes of each pair intersect perpendicularly in center of their length, thus forming center of pair. Two pairs of coils are mounted in such position that their centers are shifted relative to each other at fixed distance along datum line intersected by main axes of coils at angle of 45 deg.
