SUBSTANCE: hand-held pumping device comprises a head of the peristaltic pump and a container for the liquid to be fed. The pump head comprises a rotatable peristaltic pumping element and a flexible tube to ensure the feed, interconnected to the inner part of the container via the fluid medium. Launching gear actuated by a finger is positioned with the possibility of putting the peristaltic pumping element in motion when it is actuated, so that the peristaltic pumping element rotates and transfers the fluid medium through the tube to ensure the feed. The pump head comprises an opening for the thumb passing through it and positioned in an area around which the peristaltic pumping element rotates during actuation.

EFFECT: pumping device and pump head can operate without risk of power boot rupture or thumb injury or with a reduced risk of this, and are also ergonomically advantageous.
