FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: reactor (1) for continuously producing hydrogen sulfide comprises a lower part (2) with the melt (3) sulfur, one or more non-pressure retaining first trap (4), at least one device (5, 5a), a supply of hydrogen at each first trap gas gathering portion (6), suitable for containing a gas mixture comprising a product, one or more non-pressure retaining built-in elements (7) for continuously moving across containing product gas mixture formed in the lower part (2) of the reactor, in the gas gathering portion (6). One or more built-in elements comprise a heterogeneous catalyst for the further conversion of the hydrogen and the sulfur present in the product-containing gas to hydrogen sulfide. The pressurized hydrogen is supplied to the melt (3) sulfur which, together with sulfur, is transferred from the melt (3) into the gaseous state, at least partially capture at least one non-retaining pressure of the first trap (4). Continuously moved all containing product gas mixture, formed in the bottom of the reactor (2), in the gas gathering portion (6) by one or several non-pressure retaining built-in elements (7). Reactor (1) is used to produce hydrogen sulphide with a sulfon content not exceeding 600 million-1.
EFFECT: invention enables the degree of hydrogen conversion of greater than 99 percent, high purity of the hydrogen sulfide, compact design and a wide range of variation of the reactor charge.
