FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: wind turbine foundation to accommodate the wind turbine tower with multiple tower segments comprises multiple foundation segments made of precast concrete elements, at that, the foundation segments comprise a plurality of first and second tubular shells, which serve to accommodate the strands for foundation segments tension. A foundation segment has a bottom side, a top side for lower tower segment installation, an inner side, an inwardly curved outer, two side surfaces and an outer portion. The first tubular shells extend circumferentially and parallel to the bottom side, and the second tubular shells extend between the outer portion and the top side of the foundation segment or parallel to the side surfaces.

EFFECT: increased bearing capacity of precast foundation, providing static of a precast foundation made of multiple elements.
